INCLUDING THE ISARIMT HOUSE AMID CURB 'AARIU;T IN PADUCAf3, KENTUCKY.. ii iBE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CO:,L.IISSIONERS OF THE l CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY. SECTION 1. The Public Market in Paducah, Kentucky shall consist of the Market House and those parts of the street and sidewalk contiguous thereto, or in the vicinity thereof, which are now or may hereafter be set apart and used as the Curb Market, and the same to the extent herein provided shall be controlled and governed by the provisions of this Ordinance. SECTION 2. It shall be unlawful for any person other than a bona fide producer to engage in the wholesaling of fruits, Vegetables or other produce on the Public Market in Paducah. SECTION 3. It shall be unlawful for any person other than a bona fide producer to offer for sale any fruits, vegetables or other produce or other commodities of merchandise on the curb, sidewalk or street market as herein defined, and no person shall park any vehicle or use any obstruction of any kind for the purpose of reserving or holding any place on the Curb Market before twelve otclock mid -night for the following day's sales on said Curb I:Iarket. SECTION 4. Any person, firm,company or corporation, violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be fined in any sum not less than $ 5.00 or more than $r 100.00 for each offense and each day that such Ordinance is so violated shall constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable by separate penalties and fines as herein provided. All. fines collected hereunder shall be paid into the general funds of the City of Paducah. SECTION 5. The closing hours of the Curb Market shall be the same as the closing hours of t.e City Market House, and the Market Master on each day shall require the closing of the Curb Market at the same time the Market House is closed. SECTION 6. This Ordinance will not be deemed to repeal any i existing Ordinance or Regulation, except to the extent that it conflicts with such existing Ordinance or Regulation governing said Public Market, thei Market House or the Curb Market; and and this Ordinance shall be in effect from and after its adoption. y Signed Passed by the Board of Commissioners May 7th, 1934.
