AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE LEVY AND RA'Z'E OF TAXATIONT
ON ALL PROPERTY IB. THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, SUBJECT TO
TAXATION FOR MUbiICIPAL PURPOSES FOR THE YEAR 1934, A14D THE RATE.
OF POLL TAX WITH THE PURPOSES OF SAID LEVY THEREUITDER DEFINED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COL10tISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
There is hereby levied for the year 1934, upon all
the taxable property within the city of Paducah, Kentucky, real
and personal , subject to taxation for municipal purposes, an
ad valorem tax of p 1.43 pursuafit to Section 157 of the State
Constitution, to defray the cost of maintaining and
administering the Government of the City of Paducah for the
year 1934, and to cover the estimated cost of maintaining and
operating the departments and agencies of said Government
pursuant to.the annual budget prepared and submitted to the
Board of Commissioners by the City 11anager and approved by the
Board of Commissioners; and the Board of Education of the City,
of Paducah, pursuant to authority vested in it under its Charter
and the laws of the State of Kentucky, having levied an advalorum
tax upon all taxable property within the City of Paducah, subject
to taxation for school purposes of 6 1.10 upon each $100.00
of such property, and likewise and under said Resolution a tax
of .15¢ upon each x$100.00 of such•taxable property for the
purpose of, paying the Interest and Principal on School
Improvement Bonds, and to create and provide a sinking fund for
the payment of said bonds at maturity, making in all of said
tares for City and School purposes a total tax rate of $ 2.68
on -each 8100.00 of all. taxable property subject to taxation for
municipal and school purposes in the City of Paducah. There is
also hereby levied a poll tax of * 1.50 on each male resident
of the City of Paducah over 21. years of age for the year 1964.
The tax .levies herein enumerated, shall each and all of, them
be placed upon the tax b-.Llls for the year 1964, and collected
and necounted for as required by law.
SECTION 2.

and provided for by the Board of Commissioners and as set out
in said apportionment Ordinance shall be on each x,100.00 of

SECTIO11 3.
There is hereby levied for the year 1934, a tax of
•20¢ on each k 100.00 of the fair cash value upon all the snares
Of stock of State Banks and Trust Companies Incorporated under
the laws of this Commonwealth, and engaged in business in the
City of Paducah, Kentucky, and of national Banks doing business
in said City.
And there :is further levied a tax of .150 on each
100.00 of the fair cash value of all unmanufactured agr'culi.ur-
al products subject to taxation within said City for general

SECTION 4.
All Revenues derived from licenses and from all
other sources, collected and paid unto ''.he. City Treasury,
shall be distributed to their respective accounts in the same
proportions as ad valorem taxes hereinbefore provided for,
except revenues and the sources thereof which havenot been
considered in making un the Apportionment Ordinance; and in
the event of the collection of any otherrevenues or receipts
of other income which was'not considered in making up the
Apportionment Ordinance, same shall be credited to the general
fund.
SECTION 5.
This Ordinance shall take effect from and after
its adoption. /
