A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO
SIGN THE MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF COM'IISSIONFRS FOR THEIR
TITFFTINGS HELD IN THE LAST VrF.FK OF DECEMBRR 1933.
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Paducah held their regular and called meetings for the purpose
of transacting oublic business, at the City ITall in Paducah,
during the last week of December, 1933 which minutes were duly
written and prepared for signature but which minutes were not
approved and signed prior to the termination of the terms of
office of the then elected and acting Board of Commissioners
and
WHFRFAS, said Board of Commissioners which was in
office in December 1933 is now no longer in office, the terms
of said Officers having expired, except as to the Mayor; and
the form of Government having changed on the first day of
January 1934; and it being deemed necessary that said minutes
should be signed by the Mayor, 1701'1, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THF BOARD OF C0�':IISSIOPTFRS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KEAITUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorised and
directed to sign the minutes of the regular and called meetings
of the Board of Commissioners held during the last week in
December 1933, the same to have the same force and effect as if
said minutes had been approved by said Board of Commissioners
and signed by said Mayor prior to the expiration of the terms
Of office of the members of said Board of Commissioners.
SECTION 2.
This resolution shall be in full force and effect
upon its adoption.
