KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the members of the Fire Department of the City
of Paducah, Kentucky, shall be divided into two platoons, or
shifts, of twelve (12) hours each in attendance or labor; that
is to say half of said membership shall bo on duty half of
each -t,:,enty-four (24) hours a day and the other half of said
membership shall be on duty the other half of each twenty-four
(24) hours a day.
SECTICI? 2.
That the twenty-four (24) hours per day shall be
divided into shifts in such manner as is deemed most expedient
b;• order or rule issuing fro^ the Commissioner of Public Safety
or Chief of Fire Department, such orders hoyiever from the Chief
of Fire Department shall be governed by orders from the.
Commissicner of Public Safety or Department Head.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall take effect from and after its
passage, recordation and publication. /
