CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the office of }cleat and 1.Silk Inspector for Dart
time service, in lieu of an all-time service, is hereby created
and established in the city of Paducah, Kentucky.
SECTION 2.
Said officer shall inspect meats and fish offered for
sale in the city of Paducah, Kentucky and shall make tests of milk
and milk products therein offered for sale, and keep accurate
records of same, in accordance with the rules and regulations of
the Board of Health of said City. And he shall perform all
other duties assigned to him by the Health Officer of said city.
SECTION 3.
No one shall be eligible for election to such office
who is not a graduate veterinarian.
SECTION 4.
Said officer shall be chosen by the Board of
Commissioners of the City of Paducah, and shall hold his office
for the term of one year, and until his successor shall have
qualified. He shall execute bond with good and approved surety
in the sum of s'? 2000.00 for the faithful discharge of his duties.
SECTION 5.
The salary of said officer shall be fixed by the
Board of Commissioners and shall be paid in monthly irs to llments.
SECTION 6.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances, in conflict
heree:ith, are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall take
effect and be :in force from its Dassage, approval and publication.
