STRFFTS OR i PORTIONS OF STREETS THAT MAY BE USED FOR PARKING AND THE MANNER II OF UTILIZING SANE, IN THE QITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND FIXING li A PENALTY FOR ANY VIOLATION THEREOF," ADOPTED BY THE GENERAL COUNCIL SEPTEMBER 14TH, 1925, SO THAT SAID SECTIONS 27, 29 AND 30 OF SAID ORDINANCE SHALL READ AS HEREINAFTER PROVIDED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE I� CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:. SECTION 1. That Sections 27, 29 AND 30 respectively, of an ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE RFGULATING TRAVEL A7 D TRAFFIC - THE USE OF STREETS BY VEHICLES, STREET CARS AND PEDESTRIANS, CRFATING A CENTRAL TRAFFIC AND BUSINESS DISTRICT, ESTABLISHING J BOULEVARDS, SAFETY MOMS, AND AUTHORIZING TYE ;iARKING OF CFOSS 17ATKS OR ANY ZONES HEREIN H30VIDED FOR AND THE ERECTION OF SIGNS AND °IGNALS: REGULATING PARKING AND DESCRIBING THE STREETS OR PORTIONS OF STREETS THAT TLAY BE USED FOR PARKING AND THE MANNER OF UTILIZING SATAE, IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND FIXING A PENALTY FOR ANY VIOLATION THEREOF," be and the same are hereby amendinn so that said sections as amended and reordained shall read as follows: Section 27 Parking is prohibited on the following streets or parts of streets: (1) On west side of First Street, twenty feet south from the Broadway property line. (2) On east driveway of Second Street, on east side Of street, fifteen feet south from Broadway property line and fifteen feet north from the Kentucky Avenue line. (3) On west driveway of Second Street, on west side of street, fifteen feet south from Broadway Property line and fifteen feet north from the Kentucky Avenue property line. (4) On the west side of Third Street sixty feet south from Broadway property line. I (5) On west side of Fourth Street, fifty feet south of Broadway property line. F Page 791 (6) In front of Post Office on Broadway between 6:00 A.M. and 6;00 P.M. (7) On west side of Fifth Street between Broadway property line and Post Office Driveway between 6:00 A.M. and 6.00 P.T?. (8) On the east side of Fourth Street one hundred and thirty feet north from Broadway property line. (9) Twenty feet from property lines at all other street intersections in the Central Traffic District not otherwise mentioned, except on Second Street between Kentucky Avenue and Slashington Street which shall be five feet therefrom, on account of reservation.for express wagons. Secticn 29 Right angle narking subject to the provisions of Sections 24, 25, 26 and 27, is hereby permitted on , the following named streets or parts of streets.: _ I, '(1) On both sides of Kentucky Avenue from First to Third Street. (2) On both sides of Second Street from Kentucky Avenue to 7.1ashington Street. (3) On both sides of Second Street from Jefferson to Monroe Streets. (4) On both sides of Seventh Street from Kentucky Avenue to Jefferson Street. (5) On East side of Jefferson Street from First to Second Street. Section 30 Subject to the provisions of Sections 24, 25 and 26 and 27, parallel parking will be permitted on following streets: (1) On First Street south of Broadway (2) For commercial vehicles only on Second Street, on west side of east drivec,ay and on east side of west driveway, provided wheels of cars are not more than six inches from the curb line of the market house. After regular market hours passenger vehicles or other vehicles may park in these places. (3) On both sides of Kentucky Avenue from Third to Seventh Street. (4) On both sides of Jefferson Street from Second to Seventh Streets. (5) On east side of Third Street, from Kentucky Avenue to 'Yashington Street. (6) On both sides of Sixth Street from Kentucky Avenue to Jefferson Street. Page 792 (7) On both sides of Fifth Street from Kentucky Avenue to Jefferson Street. (8) On both sides of Fourth Street from Kentucky Avenue to Jefferson Street. (9) On both sides of 3rd Street from Kentucky Avenue to Jefferson Street. (10) On both sides of Second Street from Broadway to Jefferson Street. (11) On both sides of Broadway from First to Seventh Street subject to.the provisions of Section 26 of this Ordinance. (12) All cars parked parallel must keep their right wheels within six inches of the curb. (13) The west driveway of Second Street from Broadway to Kentucky Avenue, will .be used for south bound traffic only, and wast driveway of said street for north bound traffic only. SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed and this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passafe, approval and publication .
