OF' PADUCAH, KENTUCKY;
SECTION 1.
That any person, firm or corporation desiring to
dispense or sell at retail beer or light wines within the city
limites of Paducah, Kentucky, as provided in an act entitled
" AN ACT TO PROVIDE RFVFNUE BY THE. ^lAX.A,TION OF CERTAIN NOPIINTOX=
ICATING LIQUOR AND FOR OTHER PURPOSFS," passed by the 73rd
Congress of the United States and duly signed by the President
on the 23rd day of Yarch, 1933, shall make application to the
Board of Commissioners of the city of Paducah designating the
name of the applicant and the place where said business is to
be conducted; the Board of Commissioners shall have the right
to approve or to refuse said application but if said application
is granted such applicant thereunon shall procure from the
Commissioner of Public Finance a license for which he shall pay
the sum of �o 30.00 per year payable in semi-annual installments
of � 15.00 each on the 1st day of January and the 1st day of
July; and any license issued for less than six months shall
be not less than ip, 15.00.
SECTION 2.
Any person, firm or corporation desiring to wholesale
or distribute beer and light wines to retail dealers in the city
of Paducah, Kentucky shall make annlication to the Board of
Commissioners for @'distributor's license; the Board of
Commissioners shall have the right to approve or refuse such
anplicntion but when approved said applicant shall procure a
license from the Commissioner of Public Finance by paying a
license fee of $150.00 per year, payable in semi annual
installments of $p 75.00 on the 1st of January and the lst of
July, provided that no distributor's license procured for less
than six months shall be less than v" 75.00.
SECTION 3.
No dispenser shall sell beer or light wines behind
blinds or screens but the business of dispensing within the
meaning of thi^ ordinance shall be conducted openly without any
attempt to hide it or screen it from public view.

SFCTION 4.
Every person, firm or corporation procixring a license
to dispense beer or light wines under this ordinance shall be
reouired to conduct said business in a decent and orderly manner
and the right is reserved by the Board of Commissioners'of the
city of Paducah, Kentucky to revoke the license of any licensee
upon violation of this section.
SECTION 5.
Every person, fire or corporation engaging in the sale of
beer and light wines shall, before engaging in such business,
procure a license in the amount set out in section 1, for each
separate location at which said business is to be conducted.
SFCTIOPT 6.
A11 ordinances or parts of ordinances now in effect which
conflict with this ordinance are hereby repealed but only
insofar as they conflict with this ordinance.
SECTION 7.
Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any
provision of this ordinance shall upon conviction in the police
court of the city of Paducah, Kentucky, be fined not less than
ti. 25.00 nor more than p 100.00 for each offense.
SECTION S.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force on and
after April 7th, 1933.
