AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE LEVY OR RATE OF TAXATI'M
ON PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY FOR THE YEAR 1933.
AND THE RATE OF POLL7AX I7= THE PURPOSE OF SAID LEVY THEREUNDER
DEFINED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMWISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
There is hereby levied for the year 1933 upon all
the taxable property within the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
real and personal, an ad valorem tax of One & 48/100 ($1.48)
Dollars upon each One Hundred (1100.00) Dollars worth of such
taxable property'', pursuant to Section 157 of the State
Constitution and the statute laws of the state, fdr city purposes;
and the Board of Education of the City of Paducah, pursuant
to authority vested in it under its charter and the laws of the
State of Kentucky, have by appropriate resolutions levied an
ad valorem tax upon all taxable property within the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, real and personal, for school purposes
Ninety Seven (97V) Cents upon each One Hundred (,.100.00)
Dollars of such property, and likewise and under said authority
a tax of Twenty Three (23�) Cents upon each One Hundred
(1100.00) Dollars of such taxable property for the purpose of
paying the interest on the School Improvement Bonds and to
create a sinking fund for the payment of said bonds at maturity,
making in all,said taxes for city and school purposes a total
tax of Two and 68/7:00 (52.68) Dollars on each One Hundred
(1'100.00) Dollars of all taxable property, both real and
personal in the City of Paducah, Kentucky. There 9.s also
hereby levied a poll tax of One & 50/100 (5$1.50) Dollars on each
male resident of the City of Paducah over twenty one (21) years
of age for the year 1933. The tax levies herein enumerated
shall each and all of them be placed upon the tax bills for the
year 1933 and collected and accounted for as required by law.
There is likewise levied upon.all bank shares a tax
of twenty (20�) cents on each One Hundred (1;100.00) Dollars for
city purposes and a tax of Forty (40�) Cents on each One Hundred
(1;100.00) Dollars for school purposes.

There is also levied a tax of Fifteen (15�) Cents
on each One Hundred (:':100.00) Dollars of the fair cash value
of all manufactured agricultural products subject to taxation

in the city of Paducah as provided in Section # 4019A-16 Kentucky
statutes.
SECTION 2.
That the rate of taxation for each item of
expenditure as heretofore apportioned and set out by ordinance
shall be on each One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars of property
as follows, to wit:

SECTION 3.
All revenues derived from licenses or other
sources collected and paid to the Commissioners of Public
Finance shall be distributed to their respective accounts.in the
same proportion as the ad valorem tart hereinbefore provided for,
except sources of revenues which have not been considered in
making up the apportionment ordinance, and in the event of the
collection of any revenues or other income which was not considere
in making up the apportionment ordinance, then such revenue or
income shall be credited to the General Fund.
