A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING P'ONEY F'RO1,T THE
UNAPPROPRIATED FUNDS IN THE GENERAL FUNDS OF THE CITY NOT
OTHEM!.'ISF ALREADY APPROPRIATED, PAYABLE TO THE PADUCAH BOARD OF
TRADE IN MONTITLY INSTALLIZENTS, THE FIRST INSTA1 LMENT PAYABLE
ON THE 1ST OF JANUARY, 1933, AND ON THE 13T DAY OF EACH MONTH
THERFAFITR UNTIL FINALLY 'AID FOR THE PURPOSE OF ADVERTISING

UNDER TFF DIRECTION OF THE MAYOR AND THE COI'.L:ISS IONER OF PUBLIC
FINANCE. OF THE CI'T'Y OF PADUCAH AND THE SECRETf.RY (F THE PADUCAH
BOARD OF TRADE IN SUCH MANNER AS THEY MAY DEEP BEST AND MOST
EXPEDIENT FOF.SUCH PURPOSES.
Whereas, it has become apparent to the Board of
Commissioners of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, that it is to
the interest of the vity to expend money for the purpose of
advertising its trade, commerce and manufacture and commercial
resources, and the most expedient way so to do would be to
appropriate a sum for this purpose, payable to the Paducah
Board of Trade, in the sum of Ina Thousand ($ 10,000.00)
Dollars, payable Eight Hundred Thirty Three and Thirty Three
Hundredths (y 833.33) Dollars for twelve (12) months, the first
to be paid on the lst of January, 1933, and on the lst of each
month thereafter until paid, subject to the direction and control
of the Mayor of the City of Paducah and Commissioner of Public
Finance of the City of Paducah in ccnjunction with the
Secretary of Board of Trade, and to be so expended by them to
the best interest of advertising the things herein mentioned.
THFP7FORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THF i.OAF,D OF
COi:SNISSIOTNFFS OF TITr CITY OF PADUCAH, that there is now
appropriated for this purpose the sum of Ten Thousand
('.� 10,000.00) Dollars, to be paid to the Paducah Board of Trade
at Eight Hundred Thirty Three and 'Thirty Three One Hundredths
( `r 833.33) Dollars a month, the first of said payments to be
paid on the 1st day of January, 1933 and a payment of Eight
Hundred Thirty Three and Thirty Three One Hundredths (: 833.33)
Dollars on the lst of each month thereafter until the whole sum
shall have been paid, the same to be expended under the directions
of the Mayor of the City of Paducah, and the Commissioner of

Public Finance of the City of Paducah, in conjunction with the
Secretnry of the Paducah Board of Trade, all of same to agree
upon such expenditures before same is paid out.
And the Commissioner of Public Finance upon
the acquiescence of the three as to such expenditures is
authorized and directed to drag" his Warrant upon the City
Treasury.for the respective amounts hereinabove indicated until
same shall have been fully- paid.
