BE IT Onr-AFIED BY TRF BOARD OF CQUT,'.ISti'IOI?FRS OI' TTIF CITY OF PAD?ICAII, KENTUCKY; That the Mayor of the City of Paducah is now authorized and directed to execute and deliver to the Gulf Refining Company a lease upon the following described property; "Beginning at a point in the center line of Island Creek, common corner to the property of the party of the first and party of the second part; thence westwardly with the property lire of the first and second parties a distance of 84 feet; thence northivardly towards the Tennessee River a distance Of 115 feet to a point which will be 74 feet at a right angle from the center line of Island Creek; thence 74 feet to the center -line of Island Creek; thence with the center line of Island Creek.with its meanders 110 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning." Appurtenant to this lease there is also granted unto the party of the second part an easement in all of the balance of the property of the party of the first part extending from the north boundary of the leased premises, and of an equal width therewith to low water mark on the Tennessee River for the purpose of dredging the bed and banks of Island Creek *a sufficient depth and width so as to create and maintain a channel of water 9 feet in depth from the Tennessee River to the leased premises herein- above described, and to drive a cluster of piling of sufficient size and number in said channel to support the river end of barges landing or docking at the leased premises, and this easement shall include the right of entry ingress and egress to the property of the party of the first part, and the right to maintain, continue and keep in condition all such dredged channel banks and piling. The terms of such lease to be 30 years from this date and said Mayor is directed to deliver said lease duly executed to the said Gula' Refining Company in consideration of a dedication made by the Gulf Refining Company to the following described property; "All that certain lot or parcel of land situated at the intersection of Third, Broad and Elizabeth Streets. Beginning at the Southwesterly corner of Third and Broad Streets, which is also the northeast corner of property conveyed to Gulf Refining Company by South Side Realty Company by Deed dated December 19th, 1931; thence Southwardly with the ':lesterly line of Broad Street 41.5 feet to the Southwesterly corner of Third and Broad Strects as relocated; thence Northwestwardly with proposed Southwesterly .line of Third Street 61.52 feet to the Southwesterly corner of Third and Elizabeth Streets as relocated; thence Tlortheastwardly with the Southeasterly line of Elizabeth Street 19.09 feet to the old Southwesterly intersection of Third and Elizabeth Streets thence With old. Southerly line of Third Street 42.1-4 feet to place of beginning as shown on plan entitled "Proposed relocation of Third Street from F beth Strect to Broad Street, Paducah, Kentuclty, F. R. R. Bradshaw, Commissioner of Public 'corks, January, 1932." Pagr 715 Being a portion of the tract conveyed to Gulf Refining Company by South Side Realty Company by deed recorded in Deed Book page in County Court Clerk's Office, Pdc Cracken County, Kentucky."
