AN ORDINANCE AUTIIORIZING AND EMPOWERING THF
PURCHASE OF ONE THOUSAND FEET OF 22 INCH FIRE HOSE, AND PROVIDING
P,OR THF ADWRI.'IEING FOR BIDS AND ACCEPTANCE OF SAME.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COM?r'I!-SIONFF.,c
OF TH7 CITY OF PADUCAH,KENTUCKY;
SECTION 1.
That the Commissioner of Public Safety be and he is
hereby authorized and empo�:ered to advertise for and receive
bids from various manufacturers of fire hose for 1000 feet of 22
inch fire hose for the use of the Paducah Fire Department, and he
will receive said bids sea -led and open same and present to the
Hoard of Commissioners his recommendation as to what bid shall be
accepted, and only the lowest and best bid, the character and
kind bf material considered, shall be accepted. The right to
reject any and all bids is reserved.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall take effect upon its adoption.
