Palmer and Elbridge Palmer, her husband, and W.Armour Gardner and Irene Gardner, his wife, I conveyed a certain strip and parcel of real estate on North Eighth i Street in Paducah, Kentucky, to one Alfred Warren provir?ing in the deed that a certain strip of ground approximately 30 feet in width should be i reserved for street purposes, and ;JHEREAS, no part of said ground has ever been used for i street purposes, nor has the City of Paducah ever accepted or used the I same, nor can the city use any part thereof for street purposes to any advantage ,-hatsoever, and that it is decidedly to the disadvantage of the city to undertake to use said ground for street purposes, NU:°, TBFFEYORE, BL IT ORDAINED j3Y THE 130ARD OP' COMMISUONERS Or' THF UITY OF PALUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the attempted dedication of a strip of grcund alleged to be approximately 30 feet in ­idth on North Eighth Street and on the east side thereof beyond 'Terrell Street and adjacent to what is now known as Hooks Park, and abutting upon property heretofore conveyed to alfred Varren by Mary G. Palmer, et al, in 1924, which strip of ground is in a triangular shape and is described as follows: Being a triangular shaped tract of land lying between the A.L. Scott tract of land (see need nook 155, page 30b, for a more particular description of this tract of land) and North Eight Street in the Uity of Paducah, fAcUracken Uounty, Kentucky, and more Particularly described as follovis: Beginning at a point, the southwest corner of the A.L. Scott tract of land; thence eastwardly with the south line of the A.L. Scott tract of land a distance of 192 feet, more or less, and to a point where said south line of the A.L.Sc-tt tract of land intersects the north line of North 8th street; thence westwardly with the north line of North 8th street 197 feet, more or less, and to a point in said north line of ieorth 8th street exactly opposite the above named beginning point; and thence northrardly to the point of beginning. be and thry same is not accepted by the Uity for street purposes or for any other purpose, and the attempted dedicati n thereof by the-rantors in said deeds in hereby rejected and declined ^n1 the Uity of Paducah � quit -claims any and all right, title and interest that it ever acquired b� reason of said attempted dedication, which de:'fcation was attempted to bel made without the kno;!ledge or consent of the sa ddiu`ity of Paducah.
