That pursuant to the provisions of the franchise of the Paducah '.'pater !'forks Comoany and of Chanter 1::7 of the Acts of the General Assembly o,: Kentucky, 1926, as amended by Chapter 92 of the "cts of the General Assembly of Kentucky, 1930, the City of Paducah has elected and hereby elects to purchase for cash the properties of the Paducah "later '7orks Company, and to demand delivery of all right, title, privilege and franchise in said -s ter works and all property connected thereDith, for the amount of the award of the arbitrators selected for the )urpose of making said award, to -:•pit: One Million ;`Tine Hundred T,.enty-seven Thousand Eight Hundred Nine Dollars (5x1,927,809,00), as provided in said franchise and law aforesaid. SECTION 2.
