gineering, advertising and legal and clericnl service in connection tI-

by the City of Paducah as renuircd Ly lnw, and

Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah on the 10th day of
July, 1930, pursuant to notice duly given and inspection of Said
7ork and the recommendation of acceptance made therefor by the
Commissioner of Public Works of the `pity of Paducah, Kentucky, and
pursuant to a motion made by said Commissioner, which motion was
duly adouted by the Board of Commissioners,

BE IT ORDAINED BY TRF BOARD OF COMIISSIONEHS OP THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SF.CTIONI.
That all of the property on both sides of Adams street,
from the west curb line of 28th street to the east property line
of 29th street, in the City of Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky,
as shown by the engineer's estimates, be, and the same is hereby annerva& b
assessed for the cost of construction of a gravel street, and
concrete driveways, cur: and gutter, rith all necessary manholes,
intakes, catch basins, drain tile and sewer nine, and all
necessary engineering, advertising and legal and clerical service

As shown W the engineer's estimates on file in the office of the
Commissioner of Public Torks, which estimates are adopted and made
part hereof.
SFCTION 2.
That all of the funds derived from the assessment
of said property aforesaid shall be used for the purpose of paying
of the tax bills issued against said property, or such bonds as
may be issued by the City of Paducah cursunr.t to Section 3101 of the
Kentucky Statutes.
SECTION 3.
Thnt pursuant to Section 3101 of the "entucky

St-tutes, as *mended and re-enacted and now in force, said

assessments may be, at the option of the property owners, payable in
ensh ^;ithin thirty da-ys from tt•e date of the n^ssing of this ordinance, on'I
in ten annual installments, pursuant to the provisions of said Statutes.
SECTION 4.
i
In order to provide a fund for the immediate payment of the
cost of that portion of the special assessment herein provided for, and
which may be paid on the tan year in stallment plan as hereinbefore
provided for, the City of Paducah may issue and sell improvement bonds,
and to secure the payment of which bonds there is hereby pledged such
taxes qnd liens upon the property assessed herein for tre payment of the
nrincina7. and interest on such bonds, but said bonds shall not be sold for
less than pnr, rnd the proceeds trereof applied exclusively to logy-ent
for tie improvement of said street as hereinbefore mentioned, and such
bonds, if issued, shall bear interest a-4 shall be payable in accordance
with the provisions of Section 3101 of the Kentucky Statutes, as amended
and re-enacted by the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky
and now in force and effect.
SF.CTIOPI 5.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in .force from
-end after its passa#_e, record and publication.
