FOR THE CONDUCT THFREOF, AND PENALTIES THFFL'UNDER, KIH ICH WAS APPROVED JULY 1, 1909. BE IT ORDAINED BY THF BOARr OF C0'rMISSIONFPS OF TRT' CITY OF PADUCAH, KFN.rUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 2 of an ordinance ontitled, "API ORDINANCE RFLATING TO AND REGULATING THF MA.FKFT ROUSF OF THE CITY OF PADUCA.H, KENTUCKY, AND PRESCRIBING RULES FOR TFF CONDUCT T14FR70F, AND PE"ALTIF.S THEREUNDER," which was approved on July 1, 1909, be, and the same is hereby amended and re -ordained so that; the same shall read as follows: "Section 2. That the market stalls in the Market House shall be numbered as follows: On the northeast side, beginning with numbers 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17 and 19; and on the southwest side, numbers, 2.4,6,8,10,12,14,16,18 and 20. The prices for the license of said stalls shall be as follows: Stalls numbers 1,2,19 and 25, $150.00 per annum; stalls numbers 9,10,11 and 12, $175.00 per annum: and the balance of said stalls, to -wit: 3,4,5,6,7,8,13,14, 15,16,17 and 18, shall be N1125.00 per annum. The outside benches at either and on both ends of said market place shell be As follows: The outside benches at either and on both ends of said market place shall be rented at the rate of $50.00 per annum, and the center or middle rows at either or both ends of said market place shall be rented at the rate of $60.00 per annum. Provided, however, that when any of the said end or outside benches at either or both ends of said market place are not occupied by the lessee or lessees thereof, any farmer, grower or marketer may, upon obtaining a permit from the Market Master, and by paying a fee of One ($1.00) Dollar for each day he may so occupy said bench, obtaining permission thereby to use the same for one (1) day; but no such permit or permission shall be for a greater length of time than for one (1) day. Any person using or occu ging any stall or bench for the use of which a license charge is herein imnosed except these specifically permitted herein to use same without paying the license fee for the use 'thereof, without first paying the license fee charged therefor above set out, and complying e,ith all the rules and regulations relative thereto, and obtaining permit so to do, shall be fined not less than $10,00 nor more than $PO.00 and each day this section is violated shall be a sep arate offense." Page 537 SECTION 2. i All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are to the extent of such conflict hereby renealed. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage.
