HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 9, Page 530, No Ordinance NumberPage 530 AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING DEED FROM TONY REKER AND HIS WIFE, GERTRUDE REKER, TO LOTS NUMBERS 2 AND 3 IN BLOCK "V" GRFGORY HEIGHTS ADDITION, AND PROVIDING FOR THF PAYMENT THF.RF.OF. SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept deed of conveyance from Tony Raker and Gertrude Reker to Lots numbers 2 and 3 in Block "V" Gregory Heights Addition. SECTION 2. That there be paid to John N. Polk, County Court Clerk of McCracken County, the sum of Nine -one and 63/100 ($91:63) Dollars in full of the general taxes and penalties due to McCracken County, and the State of Kentucky against the property of Tony and Gertrude Reker, same to be credited upon the purchase price of the two lots of ground described in Section 1 hereof; and that there be paid to the First National Bank of Paducah, the sum of Fourteen Fundred Sixty -tyro and 37/100 ($1462.37) Dollarsm being the balance of the purchase price of said two lots, and the Commissioner of Public Finance is authorized and directed to issue his checks aforesaid In payment of said lots, and to deliver to the First National Bank of Paducah receipted tax bills from the said John W. Polk, sh mving the pa?ments to him of the said Ninety-one and 63/100 (M91.63) Dollars aforesaid, and to receive from the said First National Bank said deed of conveyance aforesaid and to cause the same: to be recorded in the office of the County Court Clerk of McCracken County. Said amounts to be charged to Contingent Fund. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall ytake effect upon its adoption.
