HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 9, Page 529, No Ordinance NumberPage 529 i AN ORDINANCE FURTHER PPOVIDING FOR THE REGULATION AND ORDERLY GOVERNMENT OF THE PARKS,.BOULF'ARDS, PARKWAYS AND IMPROVED PARK SPACFS IN FOUNTAIN AVENUE, JEFFERSON STREET AND THIRTY-FIFTH STRFFT. i BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COV1,11",FIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. No person shall play any game whatsoever, nor injure, destroy nor in anywise mutilate the shrubbery, grass or other growing plants on, nor use for recreation, picnics, parties, suppers or dinners or other gathering, any of the p wks, boulevards, parkways or improved park spaces in Fountain Avenue, Jefferson Street or Thirty-fifth Street in the City of Paducah. No person shall engage in any sport, game or recreation, nor engage in any business, calling or occupation, or place any deposit of dirt, rubbish, refuse or other material of any kind upon said park spaces or improved park spaces. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined In any sum not less than Five ($5.00) Dollars nor more than One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars for each and every offense. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall not be construed as repealing any part of an ordinance approved September 2, 1909 providing for the regulation and orderly government of parks, boulevards, parkways, park roads, streets, avenues or other public grounds under the control and management of the Board of Park Commissioners; but this ordinance shall be construed as being an addition to the regulation for the control and management of. the parks and improved park spaces described herein. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its adoption.
