AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING DEED FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM
CHARLES SCHMAUS FOR STRRFT PURPOSES AND PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT

BE IT ORDAINFD BY THE BOARD OF COwT9TSSIONFPS OF
THE CITY OF PA DUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the City of Paducah accept deed from Charles Schmaus
for certain real estate in Arcadia for street purposes as shown by
deed bearing date of March 25, 1930, and there is hereby appropriated
the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars to pay for said strip of
ground, and the Commissioner of Public Finance Is hereby authorized
and directed tb issue to the said Charles Schmaus the check of the
City of Paducah for said sum of Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars in
payment thereof and charge same to the proper account'.
SECTION 2.
The Commissioner of Public Finance is further authorized
and directed to cause the deed from J.T. Timmons and wife to Charles
Schmaus, and also the deed from Charles Schmaus to the City of
Paducah, and also the affidavit of Charles Schmaus as to u-nership of
said property to be recorded in the office of the County Court
3lerk of McCracken County, Kentucky.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall take effect from and after its
ssage. ,
