AN ORDINANCE DECLARING TIIF. DEDICATION Or, CERTAIN
PROPERTY IN, A13UTTlNG UPON AND ADJACENT TO Lab1:LLE AVENUE AND JEFFFR ON
STRP:ET AS A PART OF' LabELLE AVENUE IN PADUCAH, KRNTUCKY.
WHEREAS, the Paducah and Illinois Railroad Company ,
on the 8th day of Julyt, 1929 conveyed a certain triangular strip or
parcel of ground on the ,rest side of Labelle Avenue between Jefferson
Street and Broadway approximately 180 feet in length and fronting and
abutting upon the south side of Jefferson Street as shown by deed of
record in Deed Book 167, page 525, McCracken County Court Clerk's office,
which strip or parcel of ground was conveyed to the City of Paducah in
connection with an exchange of property between the City of Paducah
and the Paducah & Illinois Railroad Company for the purpose of re-
locating the boundary lines and establishing LaBelle Avenue, but said
deed fails to designate said property ns having been conveyed for street
purposes, NO''.', TH R'FORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by THE BOARD OF CUi,7TItIS8I0NE S
OF' THF CITY OF PADUCAH, IMNUUCKY.
SECTION 1.
That said triangular strip of ground conveyed to the
City of Paducah by the Paducah & Illinois Railroad Company on the 8th
day of July, 1929 by deed of record in Deed Book 167, page 525,
McCracken County Court Clerk's office, and being a triangular'strin of
ground approximately 180 feet in length on the west side of Labelle
Avenue and abutting upon Jefferson Street anoroximately 46 feet, more
or less, be, and the same is hereb-, declared to be a part of Labelle
Avenue and as such dedicated for street purposes so teat all of said
strip of ground abutting upon the property of the 1-11e,t End Improvement
Company and so conveyed to the City of Paducah by the Paducah & Illinois
Railroad Uompany shall be and hereafter is a part of LaBelle Avenue.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its adoption.
