BE IT ORDATNFD BY THE BOARD OP 00•".'I` "ION'P ' OF THF. CITY OF PADUCAH, KFNTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby authorized to execute a quit -claim deed to Chris Burger of a certain strip of ground between the sidewalk and the property of Chris Burger at the nortr.west corner of 10th Street and Park Avenue in the City of Paducah; said property being described as fronting 51.33 feet on Park Avenue and 28 feet on 10th Street, and abutting the property now owned by Chris Burger 43 feet. Said strip of ground having been abandoned by the City of Paducah as a street, or Park Avenue ,and Harris Street, in the year 1901, as shown by the records on file in the office of the City Engineer at said time, and the City of Paducah having enclosed said strip of ground within the private property of the abutting property owner at said time and the streets and sidewalks having been built and paid for by the or^rers of the abutting property and without cost to the pity of Paducah, and by reason of said long, continued abandonment and allowing the sidewalk and streets to be improved adjacent thereto by the rnrner of the abutting property, the city has ceased to own or claim any interest therein. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force upon its passage.
