BE IT ORDAINED BY 773L' HOARD OF COMI.'ISSIOV FS OF
TITHE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That a triangular shaped parcel of ground formerly
constituting a -art of Jefferson Street as originally laid out on the
plat of the !:`Jest End Improvement Company, and commencing at a point
approximately 290 feet westwardly from 32nd Street and extending
approximately 340 feet to the east line -of 34th Street and to the ,vest
property line of the property of C.TT.Lowry, and extending to the south
line of Jefferson Street as new established, and constituting as irregular
triangle as a¢oresnid, be c osed as a street so thnt Jefferson Street
shall be and remain a uniform width of 1( ,0 feet as noer established
and provided upon the plats of the City of Paducah, and especially as
shown on the plat of Colonial Heights Subdivision of Paducah, and that
said property constituting said irregular triangle shall revf;rt to and
be and become the property of the owners of the abuiting lots of ground
contiguous thereto and abutting thereon on said south side of Jefferson
Street, and'said parcel of ground so constituting a part of Jefferson
Street as originally platted by the West End Improvement Company is now
hereby declared to be closed as a street, and the title thereof to be and
remain in the owners of the abutting property on said south side of said
street at the points aforesaid.
SECTION 2.
The City Solicitor is hereby authorized and directed to
immediately file suit in the McCracken Circuit Court for the purpose of
carrying into effect the provisions of this ordinance and closing said
street so as to provide the same a uniform width of 1`0 feet actor(ling to
the plat, plans and descriptions of the colonial heights Subdivision, as
shown now on the plats on file in the office of the Commissioner of
Public Works in the City of Yadueah.

This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage,
