AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING TIM, COIMII.'�IONF.R
OF PUBLIC "'ORKS TO SELL AN OLD, OBSOLETE AND UNUSABLE M0;1ING
i?.ACNINE.
WHEREAS, there is in the Department of Public '.;corks one
old corn out, obsolete mowing machine that cannot be used and is of
no value to the City and it is necessary_to sell or otherwise
dispose of same, and John Franklin having offered Ten :(&q'10.00)
Dollars for tTbe same, which is a fair, reasonable and just price
therefor, NW!, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CO1,T- I«IONFRF OF TRF CITY
OF PADUCKH, KENTUCKY;
SECTION 1.
That the Commissioner of Public Works be, and he is
hereby authorized to sell one old worn out, obsolete mowing machine
in his department to John Franklin.for the sum of Ten ($10.00)
Dollars, same being a fair, reasenable and just compensation for
the same, and he is authorized to collect and pay into the treasury
said amount; same to go to the General Fund.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall take effect from and after its
passage.
