BE IT ORDAIPIN' BY TILE BOARD OF COi "IS,°IONrRE.. OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, IMNTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a certain lot of junk, iron and brass located at Fire En`ine House No.l in the City of Paducah and of no value whatever to the City of Paducah, and that one lot of 9iscarded street are lights, which cannot be used in the street lighting service of the City, ;which street arc lights number between 350 and 400, all being of no value to the City and not usable, shall be and the same are b6reby authorized to be sold by the City of Paducah, and it appearing that PA. Baskin has offered $18.00 for slid lot of junk, iron and brass, the same being a fair and reasonable price therefor and the City of Pac'ucah being unable to procure a better bid, it is ordered that the s^me be sold to the said M.Baskin for $18.00 cash; and Tick Brothers having offered 50V each for said lot of discarded street arc lights and the same being the largest and best bid that the city has been able to acquire, it beim a fair bid, the sale of said discarded street are lights to Tick Brothers at 50V each is hereby authorized, and upon the adoption of this ordinance the Commissioner of Public Safety is hereby authorized to sell and convey said iron, junk and brass to the said M. Baskin for $18.00, and the Commissioner of Public Property is authorized to convey said discarded street are lights to Tick Brothers for 50p1 each, and each of said commissioners to receive and collect the purchase price for said properties. passage.
