AN ORDINANCE ACCPETING DEFD FROM C.Y. AND CHARLOTTE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COn9Z,71��IONFRS
OF THF CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the deed from C.Y. & Charlotte Dodds to the
City of Paducah of a strip of ground 15 feet in width abutting upon
Jefferson Street and extending back to an alley to,r!ards Broadway Street,
for the price of Fifteen Hundred (:"',1500.00) Dollars, be received and
accepted, and the Commissioner of Public Finance is hereby authorized and
directed to issue check in payment therefor in the sum of Fifteen Hundred
($1500.(-0) Dollars and chsrge same to the Contingent Fund. Said property
so conveyed shall be used for tRe purpose of extending and establishing
26th Street beta,reen Broadway Street End Jefferson Street
SECTION 2.
On account of the fact that Jefferson Street in
front of the premises of the said C.Y. and Charlotte Dodds has been
closed for the purpose of re -construction and they have no means of out-
let or egress from their premises until said 26th Street is so opened
up that same can be traveled by them and in order to enable said Dodds to
immediately have access to his premises by the opening up of said 26th
Street, an emergency -is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall
be in full force and effect u!,on its adoption and publication.
