All ORDINANCE FIXING THE AMOUI:T OF PAY OF CERTAIN
E' PLOYEES OF TIE CITY OF PADUCAH IN THE DEPARTIJERT OF PUBLIC CIORIM
AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREV11TH:
BE IT ORDI.IIIED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, IWTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
From and after the passage and publication
of this ordinance, the employees in the Department of Public Fiorks
shall be paid at the following rates, to -;..,it:
Superintendent of Streets.::.On_e Hundred Fifty ($150.00)
Dollars per month.
Street Foreman or Assistant Street Superintendent...Ohe
hundred twenty ($120.00) per month.
Street laborers not less than thirty (30) cents nor more
than fifty (50) cents per hour for time actually em-
ployed, the amount and rate of pay to be in each case
fixed by the Commissioner of Public Works.
Machine or Machine Operators, not less than forty (40)
cents nor more than dixty (60) cents per hour for the
time actually employed, the rates of pay of each em-
ployee be fixed by the Commissioner of Public Vlorks.
Mechanics not less than forty (40) cents nor more than
sixty (603 per hour for the time actually employed, the
rate of pay in each instance to be fixed by the
Co nissioner of Public Works'.
SECTION 2.
Provisions of this ordinance shall not apply
to any other employees in the Department of Public Vlorlcs, other than
those specifically enumerated therein.
SECTION 3.
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict here:ith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
This ordinance shall take effect from and J
after its passage and publication'.
