WHEREAS, it is deemed and is hereby declared to be a 1
necessity that the driveway on Bridge Street from the West end of the
Island Creek Bridge tb the West property line of Broad Street, indluding
the intersection at Bridge and Broad Streets, in the City -of Paducah,
Kentucky be constructed of improved paving material, N07, THFRFFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF 00771ISEIONERS
OF TITS CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the driveraay on Bridge Street from the -West
end of the Island Creek Bridge to the test property line of Broad Street,
including the intersection at Bridge and Froad Streets, in the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, be constructed of concrete, asphalt, bitulithic or
other, improved paving material as may be determined by the Board of
Com-issioners as the,best'and most economical ms,terial for the con-
struction thereof, with all necessary curbs, gutters, driveways, man-,
holes, intakes, cetch basins, sewer -nd drain pipe, and nil necessary
enginer.ring, advertising and legal and clerical service in connection
therewith, end nil of Which shall be done on the ten year payment plan
and assessed against the abutting property owners on both sides thereof.
SECTION 2..
The City Solicitor is hereby directed to bring in an
ordinance for the construction of said work after the adoption and
publication of this resolution.
SECTION 3.
This resolution shall take effect ten days after its
passage.
