VII REAS, it is deemed and is hereby declared to be a necessity
that the driveway oyorth ninth Street from the South property line of
Madison Street to the South property line of Clay Street; and on Eighth
Street from the South property line of Iadison Street to the North
property line of Burnett Street, except the intersection at 8th and Clay
Streets; and on Madison Street from the '.!est property line of Eighth
Street to the East property line of Ninth Street, in the City of Paducah,
Kentucky be constructed of improved paving material, N07!, TITRFFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COM;1ISSIONFPS OF THE
CITY OF PAPUCAH, KENTUCKY:
S-CTION 1.
That the driveway on Ninth Strer-t from the South pronerty
line of Madison Street to the South property line of Clay Street; and
on Eighth Street from the South property line of Madison Street to the
North property line of Burnett Street, except the intersection at 8th and
Clay Streets; and on Madison Street from the !Jest property line of Eighth
Street to the East property line of Ninth Street, in the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, be constructed of concrete, asphalt,bitulithic or other
Improved paving material as may be determined by the Board of Comnissi.one
as the best and most economical material for the construction thereof, wi
all necessary curb, gutter, driveways, manholes, intakes, catch basins,
sewer and drain pipe, and all necessary engineering, advertising and
legal qnd clerical service in connection tierewith, and all of which shall
be done on the ten year payment plan and assessed against the abutting
property owners on both sides thereof.

The City Solicitor is hereby directed to bring in an ordinance
for the construction of said ork after the adoption and publication of
this resolution.
