BE IT ORDAIIIED BY THE BOI.RD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, company or corporation to park or leave standing any vehicle of any sort on Broadway Street, between Second Street and Seventh Street in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, Between the hours of seven o'clock A.m., and six o'clock p.m., on Monday, Tuesday, ':!ednesday, Thursday and Friday of each week, and between the hours of seven o1clock a.m., and nine o'clock p.m., on Saturdays of each week. Provided, however, that such vehicles may be temporarily parked or stopped in said area along side the sidewalk or curb for the purpose of allowing the owners, or users thereof, to go into stores, banks or offices for the transaction of business, and any vehicle so parked ` or lef# standing shall be allowed to so remain there not exceeding one hour. No vehicle shall be permitted to be moved from one position in one block to another position in the same block so as to avoid the provisions of this ordinance, and the whole length of time any vehicle is so parked or allowed to remain in any one block shall be construed as one parking under the provisions of this ordinance. And provided further that this ordinance shall in no way repeal or affect the ordinance heretofore enacted with reference to the parkin; of automobiles or other Vehicles on Broadway Street on the north side thereof for'more than ten minutes, between a point which is located twenty feet immediately west of the west property line of Fifth Street, and a point which is located 120 feet immediately west of the west property line of Fifth Street, nor the parking of automobiles or other vehicles on the South side of Broadway ;rest of and within 160 feet of the west property line of Fourth Str, et'. SECTION 2. Any person, firm, company or corporation violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not less than Five (515.00) Dollars nor more than Twenty (?20.00) Dollars, and each time any vehicle is parked within any one block for more than one hour during the time prohibited in section .l hereof shall be construed to be a separate -offense.
