BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF CM7-IISSIONM' S OF THE CITY
Q OF' ?ADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
It beim desirable that the City of Paducah at once procure
by lease with priviloge and power to purchase under an option
One (1) 32-C. 750 GP.LI. triple combination, 2 stage contrifuEal
powered by a Hercules 150 IiP motor RXLD, 4-3/4" bore X 5z- stroke.
Unit complete with General DeLuxe equipment as present specificatio LS
In proposa; dated lurch 12, 1938, and additional specifications
dated June 18, 1938,- and the General Fire Truck Corporation of
Detroit, Iichigan, offering and agreeing to lease said property to he
City of Paducah with provilege and option to purchase sante upon the
following terms and conditions: N2327.'?O payable upon the delivery
and acceptance of the Equipment, said equipment to be approved and
accepted by the Kentucky Acturial Bureau. x;2466.62 on September Ij

1939, as rental for one (1) year and with the privilege to rent semi
an additional year for the payment of ;;2605.12 on September 1, 1940
and with option thereafter to purchase same for'.;,1.00. And it
appearing that the City of Paducah is in immediate need of said
:machinery, and that the purchase and leasinC prices are fair and
reasonable, and that the amount thereof is considered and is embracId
in the budget for the year 1938, for the rental for that year, -
The City ;;tanager is hereby authorized, empowered and directed to enter
into said contract and to sign same for and on behalf of the City
of Faducah.

It being Important and necossary that anid :machinery be immed-
iatel7 acquired in order to carry on necessary work for and on behalf
of the City of Paducah, the public hoalth and safoty rocivIrint; that the
shall take Immodiate effect, an emorgency is de.,lared to existi!
this rescltuion -shall be in full force and effect fr:.m and upon
adoption.
