Tncre is heral;y levied for the year 1938, upon sll tax -tile property ,.ithin the city of Paducah, 3:entucky, real and peraonnl, subject to taxation for municipal purposes, an ad valorem i tax of One and 50/100 (.;(1.50) Dollars, upon each One Nunared (;1100.00) Dollars of valuotion of taxa'ul- property in said city, pursuant to Section 157 of the State Constitution, to defray the d cost of maintcinin- and adminlsterint, the Government of the City of Paducah for the year 1938, and to cover the estimated cost of main- tainin.7 and operating the departments and agencies of said Govern- ;ent pursuant to the annual budZot to be nrepv ed and su'i::ci+'ted to the Zoard of Commissioners by the City ;.:ana,^er, for approval by the 7oard of Commissioners, exclusive, however, of the levies herein- after mentioned and defined. There is size hereby levied a poll tax of One and 50/100 (j1.50) Dollars on each mile resident of the Ci y of Pa4ucah over 21 years of are for the year 1938. SECTION 2. ' There is hereby levied for the year 1938, a tax of maty (.1-'0) cents on each Ono Hundred (x100.00) Lollars of the frit cash value upon ell the shares of stock of State -anks and ^rust Co:^" nies Incorporated under the laws of this Coiumonv+ealth, nd en-n,ed in businesn in the City of raducah, Kentucky, and a lice tax upon all the shares of stock of ?rational ranks doing ..-siness in said City. And thorn is further levied a tax of fifteen (.l5) ccntr on each One hundred (,;100.00) Dollars of the fair cash value of all unmanufaccured a7ricultural products subject to ij taxation within said City for General municipal purposes, ani all of said taxes -rovVed for in this section, are levied and to be collected for the year 1938, and to be used for general municipal n..rposes.
