SECTION 1.
That the General Assembly of the State of
Tentuc':y be, and it is hereby petitioned and memorialized to en-
act into lacy House Bill 1216 now pendinG in the house of Rep-
racentativec, and ::hich nrkes provision for state asc:istance in
the construetlon and mainton::.ce o: arterial hi hc:ays in the
.)tate of 'Kentucky, :;hich intersect cities or por'_ions of cities
in said State. This bill if enacted into law will afford a
gust, equitable and reazona le solution for the construction and
maintenance of the more traveled parts of the State lli hway
Lystem; and the mer::berz of the General Assembly are heroby peti-
tioned and urEed to exerc:e all reasonable and proper dili_,cnce
in brinG,in` about the enactment at once & this important Bill.
SECTION 2.
Be it furthar Resolve('_ that a cop;; of this
r,•ol,,t:on be furninhed to the Speaker of the House of Repre-
,_::tstivos, and a copy o, nnif rocolution to 1lko wise furnished
