'..1!LRIAS, James Langstaff and George Hulme became the sole
owners of certain land lying in the City of Peduceh, McCrecken
County, Kentucky, by deeds dnted June 25, 1847 end November
29, 1847, recorded in .reed B,.,ok E at page 127 end 129, respectively
:.:cCrecken County Court Clerk's Officer, end,
I.F:EREAS, said purchasers caused, in February, 1849, a
pert of said tract to be platted, laid off and designated Jersey
City, which plat is of record in Deed Pook E, page 347, afore-
srid Clerk's office; and in which said "plat various blocks and
lots, alleys and streets were laid off end mapped end in whelh
Georgie Street was platted or mapped as extending westwardly from
Third Street to the west boundary line of said Jersey City
{ Addition or the east boundary line of ?.".ifoodvrerd Addition,
near Sixth Street, and,
..HEREAS, se.id Langstaff and Hulme sold various lots
according to said plat and along George Street and said reorge

line of south Fifth Street to the west property line of said
Jersey City Addition near South Sixth Street, Paducah, Kentucky,

used es a street or public thoroughfare end lies wholly within

held and used adversely for school purposes.
