AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE V01,0YhlENT OF YEAGER AND
;;RITE CEFTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS TO 1't KE AN AUDIT OF THE ACCOUNTS

OF THE CITY 07 PADUCAH FOR THE YEAR 1937, AND PROVIDING FOR THE
PAYMENT THEREFOR BY SAID CITY. �
�8?EREAS, Yeager and :shite, Certified Public Accountants
of the city of Louisville, Kentucky, have offered to make an
audit of the accounts of the City of Paducah for the year 1937,
according to written proposal submitted by them for the sum of
Eighteen Hundred ($1800.00) Dollars, and,
WHEREAS, the law requires that such audit be made annually,
and it further appearing that the proposal of Yeager and 71hite is e
reasonable and fair offer and price for said work,NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMIAISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:

SECTION 1.
That Yeager and :;'hite, Certified Public Accountants
be and they are hereby employed to make an audit of the accounts
and affairs of the City of Paducah, Kentucky for the year 1937,

in accordance with their written proposal for the price of Eighteens
''.undyed ($1800.00) Dollars; and the Mayor is hereby authorized to
enter into and sign a contract with said public accountants for said
:service.

SECTION 2. i
There is hereby appropriated and to be paid out of the general(
unds of said City the sum of Eighteen Hundred ($1800.00) Dollars
to be paid to said Yeager and ;bite as compensation of said audit
as end ,.,hen made, and at sue# times and in such amounts as may be
determined by the Poard of Commissioners, but not exceeding in all
the sum of Eighteen Hundred ($1800.00) Dollars. Said contract shall
require the furnishing of not less then six (6) copies of said audit
to the !;sty of Peducah, one of which shall be received and filed
by the Poard of Commiscioners as a permanent record, one shall be
furnished to the City Treasurer, end one. to the City Manager,
and t!.e otl,ers to be dispo ed of as may be directed by the Poard

SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall be introduced at a regular
meeting of the Board of Commissioners, and remain on file for
not 3kess then one week in its completed form, and upon its
edoption it shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days
thereafter.
