:J-IEREAS, there has been created and established in the City
of Paducah, Kentucky a Storm Mater and Sanitary'Sevrerage System extending
viestcrardly in s id pity, and knotn as Sevier Zone Four (4) in Sub -Division:
" and "B" of Sewer District 11o. Three (3), and
SIIIEREAS, since the extension of the City limits westwardly so
as to include the property described in this resolution with other
property, all of same being now in the City, and the property herein in
this resolution described being contiguous to said Sevier Zone Four (4),
and it being desirable and necessary that said Sevier Zone Four be further
extended so as to include the property herein described, and
;!iiEP.FAS, the portion of the city embraced in the se er zone
herein described is for the most part thickly populated, and in order to
provide adequate.sel•ers for the property ovmers and to promote the
sanitary conditions of the property in slid zone, it is hereby deemed and
dcclnred to be a necessity by the Board of. Commissioners of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, that storm ;nater and sanitary sevrers be constructed
in said 'Zone Four "a" as herein defined and described, in order to provide

SECTION 1.
That it is hereby declared to be a necessity by the Board of
Commissioners of the City of Paduca?-., Kentucky, in order to secure adequat
se:,erage and in order to protect the health and well-being of the citizen:
residing in Sevier Zone Four "A", ^s herein d.efined and described., that
storm .rater and sanitary se•,;ers be constructed and laid out at the cost
of the lots or parcels of land benefitted. thereby, and all of the lots or
parcels oP land embraced in ::one Four "A" are hereby declared to be the
property benefitted, and subject to be assessed for the cost of the
construction of said seviers.
SECTION 2.
Said Sewer Zone Four "!:'! in which said se:•ers are to be con-
structed, is described by metes and bounds as follows, to-c:it:
Beginning in the center line of 21st street in'the crest
boundary line of Zone Vo.4, ;:ewor District ITo.3A, 207.75 ft. south -of the
intersection of the ccnt:-r lines of 21st street and Jackson street, as

24th street; thence at right angles end c:ith the center .line of 24th

SECTION 3.
Said se:•:ers shall be constructed along and under the
following named streets and alleys and other ways in said Sever 'Lone Four

" and the cost of same shall be apportioned against all the property:,
in said Seer Zone Four "A" as follows:
(1) All the lots or parcels of land bounding or abutting
on the hereinafter named streets, alleys or highways along or under which
such seders shall be constructed are hereby declared to be the property
benefitted tl,ereby, and said cost shall be apportioned and assessed
equally against said abutting lots or lands according to the abutting .
feet thereon, provided that the cost of said construction does hot exceed
1)2.00 per abutting foot.
(2) In the event the cost of construction of said sewer
shall exceed 02.00 per abutting foot along any of said streets, alleys
or highways whereon said sewer shall be constructed, then such cost shall
be apportioned against all of the lots or lands in said seder zone
benefitted by said server according to the area in square feet of the lots
or lands so benefitted;

On 34th Streets commencing at a point on the center line cf
35th street where the center line of '34th street would intersect

Commencing at the point ;where the division line between

SECTION 4.
Notice is hereby Sjven to the owners of all property
,in said Zone Four "A" and all property bounding or abutting on any
of said streets, alleys or highways, that the cost of construction
of s, -id servers will be assessed against such property in the
manner hereinabove provided.
SECTION 5.
A Blue Print or plat showing the boundary of said Sewer
gone Four "A", naming and showing the streets embraced in said zone,
and showing the lines and courses of the sewers to be constructed
herein, is filed herewith and made a part hereof, and marked
'ixhibit "A".
SECTION 6
For additional information of the public and owners of
property in said zone, a blue print or plat showing the boundary
of said sewer sone and showing the streets embraced therein and the
line and course of the sewers to be constructed therein, will be
found on file in the office of the Commissioner of Public ':Forks,
and may be inspected at any time upon application at said office.
SECTION 7.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force ten
days after its passage.
