II BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COM1L,1I&3ION:-.RS OF I, THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the license tax required to be paid under Sectionl� 3, of said ordinance, be and the same is hereby amended to read as !follows: For each motorcycle .....................$ 1.00 For each and every passenger vehicle.... 2.50 For each motor truck, operated in the City of Paducah for business or for hire, i and for the purpose of raising revenue f6v exercising regulation over said motor trucks and for policing said city, and regulating the traffic therein and keep- ing in repair the public ways thereof, the e is hereby levied and imposed, and ordered to be collected from all persons, firms or corporations operating said motor trucks or trailers loading or un loading in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, a license tax or privilege license on said trucks and trailers as follows: Motor trucks and trailers of one ton or less capacity ............... ... .......$ 2.50 Motor trucks and trailers of one ton or more capacity per ton................... 3.00 SECTION 2. All the requirements, restrictions and regulations of !the above titled ordinance adopted by the City of Paducah on fl December 30th, 1932, providing penalties, governing the control and loperation of all motor vehicles, in all respects, except as to the payment of the amount of tax or license fee therein provided, continuing in full force and effect and be enforcible against all persons, firms or corporations as provided in said ordinance. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be construed as amending the ordinance above titled and passed on December 30th, 1932 and sub- stituting the license fees fixed herein for the license fees pro- vided therein, and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect J from an.after December 31st,'1936. ice?
