AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN LOT OF STEEL
RAILS? AND EMPOWERING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO DELIVER
SAME F.O.B. PADUCAH, AND COLLECT THE PURCHASE PRICE TFEREOF
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
It appearing that the City Manager has procured bids
for that certain lot of scrap Aeel known as the steel rails
Iremoved from the streets in the City of Paducah, and that the
estimated amount thereof is less than One Thousand (,$1000.00)
(Dollars, and Hyman Bros., of Louisville, Kentucky, having
offered to pay 411.31 gross ton for said scrap rails F.O.B
I
cars Paducah; the City Ifanager is hereby authorized and
directed to make said sale and deliver said scrap rails,
!land collect therefor the purchase price at the rate of $11.31
I.
Ilgross ton F.O.B cars Paducah, and paythesame into the City
lTreasury.
l This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon
its adoption.
