BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The apportionment and appropriation of the public funds and revenues of the City of Paducah for the year 1936, Pursuant to request contained in the resolutions adopted by the 3oard of Education of the City of Paducah, and the levy suggested )y said Board of Education for said purposes, including the rates )f said levies as approved and established by the Board of :ommissioners of said City, and to that extent only, shall be added :o and included in the tax bills for said year, and collected by th ity Treasurer and accounted for as collected, and as required by aw to the Board of Education of said City, -except that so much f said taxes as are levied and collected for interest and sinking and purposes, and for the payment of school improvement bonds call be retained by the City Treasurer and apportioned and applied said accounts; and except further that so much of said levy of tid taxes as applies to and is for the interest and benefit of the Teachers Retirement Fund, which shall be paid by the City of Page 1020 Paducah to the Treasurer thereof; and provided furthar, that the levy for the benefit of the Paducah Junior College shall be paid by said City to the Treasurer of said college. SECTION 3. That on the 15th day of December, 1936, an approximate i jestimate shall be made of the amount necessary to pay mzturing claims until the 1st day of January, 1937, and all accounts in excess of said actual needs shall be coverted into the General (Funds of the City for the purpose of taking up and discharging obligations of the City. SECTION 4. P This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from land after its adoption, and the rate of compensation of pay embracing increases or decreases shall as to such increases or 'decreases not otherwise fixed by ordinance, be effective from and (including the 1st day of May, 1936. j C^ayor Passed by the Board of Commissioners, April 27th, 1936 Recorded by Rudy Stewart, City Clerk, April 28th, 1936 L4 —
