HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 9, Page 1015, No Ordinance NumberPage 1015 + AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED, "AN (ORDINANCE RELATING TO AND FURTHER REGULATING THE BUSINESS OF SELL AT RETAIL WHISKY, WINE, BEER AND OTHER ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMM-ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH ON THE 23RD DAY OF APRIL, 1936, BY ADDING THERETO A SECTION TO BE KNOWN AS SECTION 1-A. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE: BOARD OF COI&MISSIONERS OF THE ITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That an ordinance entitled, "AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO FURTHER REGULATING THE BUSINESS OF SELLING AT RETAIL WHISKY, IE, BEER AND OTHER ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND iVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF", which was adopted by Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah on the 23rd day April, 1936, be, and the same is hereby amended, by adding reto a Section to be known as Section 1-A, and which Section is s follows: "Section 1-A. Retail Drug Stores which sell alcoholic uor in unbroken packages, and not to be drunk on the premises, 11 not be required to close their places of business on Sundays account of being such dealers in alcoholic liquor by the package, vided, however, that no such liquor shall be sold between the rs of mid -night on Saturday night and 8:00 otclock A.M. on the lowing Monday where such stocks of liquor and the places of sale same are partitioned off or separated from the balance of said iness within said Retail Drug Stores."
