the General Council: on Sep'tembe'r 14�h, 1925, by striking said Section
18 therefrom, and inserting in lieu thereof the following:
SEC1'IC IT 18.

Vehicles traveling; in a lawful manner upon the following

streets shall have the right of e:ay over vehicles approaching from
intersecting streets;
Broadway to the City Limits;
3rd Street from Kentucky Avenue to Broad Street;
Jefferson Street from 1st Street to -18th Street;
Kentucky Avenue from 1st to 9th Street, inclusive;
Murrell Boulevard from Kentucky Avenue to Tennessee Streeit; and
13th' Street from Jefferson Street to 'd: llett Street;
upon approaching any of the above named, streets, it shall be unlawful
for the operator of any vehicle to fail to bring said vehicle to a.
complete stop at t'e l;mit'line which the police department is hereby
authorized aqd �regrired to indicate by a sirn or mark at the property
line of the a_ove me oned streets; Prov'ded, however, that when
the intersection i�..cont-walled by a police%officer or by a traffic

signal, no vehicle shall'be stopped as above rrovided when a signal
to proceed has been given"-.
This ordinance shall e effect and be in force from and
after its nassare, anproval and nihlic,-...on.
