STREET FROM THE SOUTH PROPERTY LINE OF BROiDEiAY TO THE NORTH CURB LINE
OF KENTUCKY AVENUE, IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, TOGETHER V,ITH ALL
NECESSARY MIANHOLES, INTAKES, CATCH BASINS, DRAIN PIPE AND SES+ER PIPE
CONNECTIONS, AT THE COST OF THE ABUTTING PROPERTY Oi�NERS, AND PROVIDING
THAT SAME IriAY BE PAID FOR ON THE TEN YEAR PAY11211T PLAN.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GENERAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KE31TTUCIiY:
Section 1- That 15th Street from the South property line
of Broadway Streat to the North curb line of Kentucky Avenue, be improved
by the construction of curb and gutters of concrete and driveway of rock
asphalt, together�v+ith all necessary manholes, intakes, catch basins,
drain pipes and serer pipe connections in the City of Paducah, Kentucky,
in accordance with the plans, specifications and profile furnished there-
for by the City Engineer of said City, all of which plans and specifi-
cations will appear on file in the office of said�Q.ity Engineer, and are
hereby referred to and made a part hereof,as if specifically set forth
herein.
SECTION 2- Said construction shall be made under the
direction and supervision of the City Engineer and Board of Public ;corks
of said City, and shall continence at the time designated by contract for
the performance thereof and completed on or before December the 10th,
1924.
SECTION 3+ The cost of such contraction shall be paid for
wholly by the property owners fronting or abutting thereon to be appor-
tioned to and assessed against the property and the property owners
abutting thereon, according to the number of abutting feet thereon,
except that portion to be paid by the City of Paducah, as required by
law -
SECTION 4- The contractor awarded the contract for the
improvement herein provided for shall be paid in accordance with the terms
and provisions of Section 3096, 3100, 3101 and 3102 of the Kentucky
Statutes -
SECTION 5- The Mayor of said City is hereby authorized
and directed to execute any and all contracts and bonder required by law
to be executed by the successful bidder for the construction of said
improvement.
SECTION 6- Bids shall be received for the improvement
herein provided for, in accordance with the plans, specifications and
profile made and provided ti,erefor by the City Engineer of said City,
ana the contract therefor shall be awarded to the lovest and best

bidder, except the right is expressly reserved to reject any and all
bids viti:in the discretion of the General Council, and it may accept
04 any bids vilAch is for the best interest of said City.
SECTIO14 7- The Board of Public forks is hereby authorized to
advertise for bids for the construction of said improvement, whichbids
said Board is hereby directed to report to the General Council, to-
gether with its recommendation for the acceptance of any of same, or
the rejection of all of same.
SECTICI; 8- This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from its passage, record and publication.
