71HEREAS it is deemed and hereby declared to be a necessity
that the streets described in the caption, and hereinafter described
located in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be improved by the construction of
a hard surface roadway; NO"!, THFRFFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY '_SHF; GENERAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PtiDUCAH, KEI TUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That Fifteenth Street from the south property line of
Broadway Street to the north property line of Kentucky Avenue, in the Cit;
of Paducah, Kentucky, be improved by the construction of a hard surface
roadway, together with all necessary manholes, intakes, catch basins and
sewer pipe connections and also concrete cutters and curbs of either con-
crete or r;ranite, according to bid accepted, in accordance with plans and
specifications provided therefor by the City Engineer of said City, at th
cost of the abutting: property owners, and providing that the cost of such
construction may be paid under the provisions of the ten year payment plan.
SECTION 2.
(I The City Solicitor is instructed to bring in an ordinance
herewith for the improvement aforesaid.
SECTION 3.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force
and after its passage, approval and publication.
