':7HEREAS it is deemed and hereby declared to be a necessitl
that the streets described in the caption, «nd hereinafter described,
located in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be improved by the con-
struction of a hard surface roadway, together with all drainage con-
nections; NO':", THF..RI?FORE,

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GENFRAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KET'TUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That Jackson Street from the west property line of
Guthrie Avenue to the east property line of Twenty-first Street, in
the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be improved by the construction of a
hard surface roadway, together with all necessary manholes, intakes,
catch basins and sewer pipe connections, in accordance with plans
and specifications provided therefor by the City Engineer of said

City, at the cost of the abutting property owners, and providintr that
the cost of such construction may be paid in accordance with the pro-
visions of the ten year payment plan.
SECTION 2.
The City Solicitor is instructed to bring in an
ordinance in accordance herewith for the improvement aforesaid.
SECTION 3,
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from
and after its passage, approval and publication.
