AN ORDINANCE A)'.,.1-'1jDING AND RE-ENACTING SECTION 16 OF AN ORDINl:NCE RELATING TO THF:(PiJBLIC l:T;rRF)AND S.EARF D'ASTER OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, ADOPTED BY THE Gh ER1,L COUNCIL A1RIL 21ST, 1908d BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GENERAL COITT?CIL OF TYE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY. SECTION 1. That Section 16 of an ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE PUBLIC 'v':'HARF AND WHARF MASTER OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, ADOPTED BY THE GENET'f!L COUNCIL ON APRIL 21ST, 1906, be amended and re-enacted, and when so amended and re-enacted shall read as follows, to -wit: I "SECTION 16. License may be granted to any person, firm, company or corporation to keep a wharfboat in front of the public wharf at the points and places designated in Section 4 of this ordinance for thtt purpose, by such person, firm, company or corporation paying to the Treasurer -of the City of Paducah, the sum of Fifty (50 cents) cents per annum for every foot in length of said space allotted for said wharfboats in said Section 4; provided, said applicant shall immediately and in good .faith thereafter place a wharfboat at such point. The person paying such sum to t1v Treasurer shall take his receipt therefor, and within three days thereafter shall present the same to the City Clerk, who shall issue tl-_e license to keep such wharfboat r boats at said point or place upon said wharf. If any person shall keep a wharfboat at said wharf without first having obtained lice 'se so to do as herein provided he shall be fined twenty-five dollars (w25.00) for each day said wharfboat is so kept in front of said wharf.' SIECTION 2.
