AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THAT IT IS DEWEIED DESIRABLE TO ANNEX TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, CERTAIN UNINCORPORATED TERRITORY, AND SETTING OUT THE BOUNDARIES OF SUCH UNINCORPORATED TERRITORY, AND PROPOSING, TO ANNEX THE SAME TO THE CITY OF PADUC,1H, KENTUCKY, AND PROVIDING THAT SUCH ANNEXATION IS DEMANDED BY PUBLIC NECESSITY, AND PROVIDING FOR TIID; DUE AND L11111FUL PUBLICvTION OF THIS ORDINANCE. Kentucky: Be it ordained by the General Council of the City of Paducah, SECTION 1. That it is deemed desirable to annex to the City of Paducah, Kentucky, certain unincorporated territory adjoining the said City; that public necessity demands the annexation of the same, -nd tha't it is hereby proposed to annex the same, and that the boundaries of the unincorporated territory so proposed to be annexed are as follows: Beginning at a point where the East property line of Mill Street, if extended, intersects the low water mark of the Tennessee River on its South bank; running thence with the low water mark of the Tennessee River 700 feet to the '";est line of Koerner Street, if extended; thence S. 28 degrees 50 minutes !"lest and with the '.lest property line of Koerner Street a distance of approximately 720' to a point approximately 500' Porth of the North property line of Boone Ave. and approximately 650.7' from the east property line of Mill Street; thence South 61 deg. 53 min. east along a line, said line being 300' North of the North property line of Boone Ave., to Scott's line, said line being also the East line of Vaughn's Addition, a distance of apnroximately 10501; thence South 10 deg. 29 min. east with Scott's line, a distance of apnroximately 2600' to a point approximately 1501 South of the South property line of Division Street; thence North 61 deg. 591 min. West along a line, said line being approximately 150' South of the South property line of Division Street, a distance of arnroximately 520' to the %,'est property line of a 15' alley, said point on alley being approximately 142.41 east of the East property line of Bethel Street; thence South 28 deg. 24 min. West along the West property line of alley, crossing the Benton Road, a distance of approximately 1300, to the North right of way line of the I. C. R. R.; thence North 65 deg. 522 min. West with the North right of way line of the I. C. R. R. a distance of approximately 1530' to a point apnroximately 160' east of the east property line of the Husbands Road; thence South 10 deg. 571 min. H. Patterson, Clerk of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and D. A. Yeiser, Pdayor of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, as recorded in the then Current Book of Publication of ordinances of the City of Paducah at Page 74, and as referred to and adopted in the then current minute book of the City Council of Paducah, Kentucky, of the year 1894 at Page 457; and further by ordinance published and effective June 2C, 1925, and recorded in the then Current Ordinance Book at page 451; and further by ordinance published and effective on September 25, 1926, as recorded in the then Current Ordinance Book of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, at page 727. SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall be published in at least ten issues of the Official Newspaper of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, within less than thirty days of the enactment of this ordinance.. SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage, approval and publication. 0. K.
