A RESOLUTION CREATING SEWER ZONE #7 IN SUB -DIVISION "__" OF SANITARY
SEWER DISTRICT #3, IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY; TO PROVIDE FOR THE
DRAINAGE OF STORM WATER AND SANITARY SEWERAGE IN COMBINED FORM; DECLARING
THE CONSTRUCTION OF STORM WATER AND SANITARY SEWERS IN SAID Z014E TO BE A
NEDESSITY, AND SETTING OUT IN GENERAL TERMS THE PROPERTY SUBJECT TO THE
PAYMENT OF THE COST OF SAME.
WHEREAS there has been created and established in the city
of Paducah, Kentucky, Sewer District #3, which has been divided into sub-
divisions "�", "B" and "C"; and
WHEREAS a trunk line sewer has been constructed in sub-
division "n" of said sewer District #3, at the cost of the city of Paducah; and
WHEREAS it is now necessary to extend the present hewer drain-
age so as to provide for said sewer zone #7, hereinafter particularly describ-
ed, which is not now provided with sewers, it is hereby deemed and declared
to be a necessity by the General Council of the city of Paducah, Kentucky,
that storm and sanitary sewers be constructed in said zone to serve the
property and property owners located therein; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GENERAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1,
There is hereby created combined storm water and sewer zone
#7, in sub -division ":." of sewer district #3, in the city of Paducah, Ken-
tucky, which is particularly described as follows:
"Beginning at a point on the westerly boundary line of Zone
No. 4, 198 feet south of the center line of Madison Street, and 521 feet
west of the center line of 19th Street; thence westwardly on a line 198
feet south of and parallel to the center line of Madison Street to the ceri-
ter line of 21st Street; thence northwardly on the center line of 21st Street
to a point on the intereection of said center line with the center line ex-
tended of the alley in Block No. 3 of Terrell's Fountain Park Addition;
thence westwardly on the center line of said alley to a point 560.3 feet i
west of the center line of 21st Street; thence northwardly on a line 560.3
feet west of and parallel to the center line of 21st Street to the inter-
section of the said line with the center line extended of the alley in Block
No. 2 of Terrell's Fountain Park Addition; thence westwardly on said center
line extended to a point 981.5 feet west of the center line of 21st Street
as measured on said center line; thence northwardly on a line 981.5 feet west
of and parallel to the center line of 21st Street to the north boundary line
of Terrell's Fountain Park Addition; thence eastwardly along said north bound-
ary line of Terrell's Fountain Park Addition to its intersection with a line
189 feet north of and parallel to .the center line of Clay Street; thence
eastwardly along said line 189 feet north of and parallel to the centerline
of Clay Street to its intersection with the westerly boundary line of Zone
No. 4; thence southwardly along the westerly boundary line of Zone No. 4
to the point of beginning."
SECTION 2.
It is hereby declared by the General Council of the city of
Paducah, Kentucky, to be a necessity, in order to provide for the health,
comfort, convenience and general well-being of said city, and the citizens
residing in said sewer Zone #7, that a combined storm and sanitary sewer be
iconstructed and laid out at the cost of the owners of property and the lots
or parcels of ground benefitted thereby, and all of the lots or parcels of

ground located in said zone are hereby declared to be the property benefit-
ted and subject to assessment for the cost of such construction.
SECTION 3. 1

Said sewers shall be constructed along and under the
following named streets and alleys in said sewer Zone #7 in the city
i of Paducah, Kentucky, as follows, to -wit:
"On Madison Street commencing at the manhole in
Madison Street 470 feet more or less west of the center line of 19th
Street; thence west in Madison Street to the center line of 21st Street.
On Harrison Street commencing at the manhole in
Harrisoft Street 470 feet more or less west of the center line of 19th
Street; thence west in Harrison Street 808 feet.
On Clay Street commencing at the manhole in Clay
Street approximately 435 feet west of the oast line of 19th Street
and running thence west in Clay Street 1307 feet."
SECTION 4.
The cost of the construction of said sewers shall be
apportioned against all of the property in said sewer zone 7#7 as fol-!
lows:
First: All of the lots or parcels of ground bounding
or abutting on the hereinabove named streets or alleys along or under)
which said sewer shall be constructed are hereby declared to be the
property benefitted thereby, and said cost shall be apportioned and
assessed equally against said abutting lots or parcels of ground ac-
cording to the number of abutting feet tnereon, provided the cost of
said construction shall not exceed ,2.00 per abutting foot.
Second: In the event the cost of construction of said
sewers shall excedd $2.00 per abutting foot along said streets or al-
leys whereon said sewers shall be constructed in said sewer zone, then
such cost shall be apportioned against all of the lots or parcels of
ground so benefitted by said construction, according to the area in
square feet of the lots or lands benefitted thereby.
SECTION 5.
Notice is hereby given to the owners of all property in
said sewer zone #7, and all property bounding or abutting on said streets
or alleys, that the cost of construction of said sewer will be assessed
against such property in the manner hereinabove provided.
SECTION 6.
A blue print or plot showing the boundary of sewer 2ono,
#7 and showing by name the streets embraced in said zone, and the line
and course of the sewer to be constructed hereunder, is filed herewith
and made part hereof, marked exhibit "A". And for additional informa-
tion, said blue print or plot will appear on file in the office of the
City Engineer of said city, and may be inspected at any time upom
application at said office.
SECTION 7.
The combined storm water and sanitary sewer lines along
said streets or alleys, as herein provided, shall have 6 inch house con-
nection service lines extending from said sewer to the property lines
of all property abutting or bounding on any of said streets or alleys
along which said sewer shall be constructed, in such manner as to prop-

SECTION B.
This resolution shall
take effect and be in force from and
after its passage, approval and publication.
