A RESOLUTION CREATING SEWER ZONE #6, IN SUBDIVISION
"A" OF SANITARY SERVER DISTRICT #3, IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY,
AND TO PROVIDE FOR UOMBINED STORM `;PATER AND SANITARY SENDERS IN SAID
ZONE; DECLARING THE CONSTRUCTION OF SAID STORLI WATER AND SANITARY
SEWERS IN SAID ZONE TO BE A NECESSITY, AND SETTING OUT IN GENERAL
TERMS THE PROPERTY BENEFITED THEREBY AND SUBJECT TO ASSESSMENT FOR
THE PAYMENT OF THE COST OF SAME.
WHEREAS there has been created and established in
city of Paducah, Kentucky Sewer District #3; which has been divided
into subdividions n, B & C; and,
WHEREAS a trunk lime sewer has been constructed in
subdivision ".." of said Sewer District 7#3 at the cost of the city of
Paducah, from the proceeds of the bonds issued therefor; and,
WHEREAS it is desired by the property owners and for
the interest of the city that sewers be provided in said sewer zone
#6; and accordingly it is hereby declared by the General Council of
the city of Paducah, Kentucky, to be a necessity that said storm wa-
ter and sanitary sewers be constructed in said zone, to serve the
property and property owners located therein; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GENERAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH,
SECTION 1.
There is hereby created Sewer Zone #6, in subdivision
".." of Sewer District #3, in the city of Paducah, Kentucky, which is
particularly described as follows, to wit:
Beginning at a point 200,
feet South of the center line of Hinkleville Road and 154 feet West
of the center line of 24th Street; thence Westwardly,on a line 200
feet South of and parallel to the center line of theHinkleville Road
ii to a point 48 feet ;"lest of the •Meet Line of 26th Sbreet, extended;
thence Northwardly on a line 48 feet West of and parallel to the West
line of 26th Street to the center line of the East and Wesb alley in
Block #7 of Thurman's Noble Park Addition; thence `•'','estwardly on said
center line of the East and West alley t tie center line of�he North
and South alley just West of Block #7 of hurman's Noble Park Addition;
thenceNox,thwardly on sai0enter line of the North and South alley
li 167.5 feet West of the Nest line with the center line of the alley
between 26th Street and Thompson Avenue, lying between Block # 8 of
Thurman's Noble Park Addition and Block #2 of Wadsworth Improvement
Company's Addition; thence Northwardly on the center line of said
alley and the center line extended to the point of the intersection
with the center line of the alley first West of Atkins Avenue, a line
173 feet West of and parallel to the West line of Atkins Avenue;
thence Northwardly on the center line of the alley first '.Vest of At-
kins Avenueto its intersection with the center line extended of 13th
Street; thence Eastwardly on the center of 13th Street to a point 50
fo?et West of Atkins Avenue- thence Northwardly on a line 50 feet West
and parallel to the 'Nest line of Atkins Avenue to the center line
of Cairo Road; thence Eastwardly on the center line of Cairo Road to
its intersection with the ',Nest City Limits; thence Northwardly on the
';Jest City Limits to a point at the intersection of the .Pest City Lim-
its Line with a line 150 feet Nobth of and parallel to the North line
of Cairo Road; thence Eastwardly on the line 150 feet North of and
parallel to the North line of Cairo Road to the center line of Palm
Street; thence Southwardly on the center ;ine of Palm Street and this
line extended to a point 242.5 feet SoutY;Sf the center line of 13th
Street; thence Eastwardly on a line 242.$ feet South of and parallel
to the center line ofl3th.Street to a point 173 feet East of the East
line of Bloomfield Avenue; thence Southwardly along a line 173 feet

East of and parallel to the East line of Bloomfield Avenue to the center
line of Mildred Street; thence 'Nestwardly on the center line of Mildred
Street to the point where it intersects the West boundary line of Thurman's
IGlenwood Addition; thence Southwardly on the said 5lest boundary of Thur -
man's Glenwood Addition to the point of beginning.
Section 2.
It is hereby declared by the General Council of the
! city of Paducah, Kentucky to be a necessity, in order to provide for the
health, comfort, convenience and general well-being of said city, and cit-
izens residing in said sewer zone #6, that a combined storm water anct san-
itary sewer be constructed and laid out in said sewer zone #6, hereinabove
described, at the cost of the ovmers of property and the lots and parcels
I' of ground benefited thereby, and all of the lots or parcels of ground lo-
cated in said zone are hereby described to be the property benefited and
subject to the assessment for the cost of such construction.
SECTION 3,
Said sewers shall be constructed along and under the
following named streets and alleys in said sewer zone #6, in the city of
Paducah, Kentucky, to wit:
On Mildred Street commencing at the manhole
in 24th Street on the South line of Tdildred Street and running thence East-
wardly in Mildred Street to the center line of Bloomfield Avenue extended
in Mildred Street.
On Mildred Street commencing at the manhole
in 24th Street on the South line of Mildred Street and running thence West-
wardly in Mildred Street to the center line of Atkins Avenue.
On Bloomfield Avenue commencing at the pro -
nosed sewer in Mildred Street and running thence Northwardly to the South,
line of 13th Street.
On Langstaff Avenue commencing at the pro
r posed sewer in Mildred Street and running thence Northwardly on Langstaff
Avenue and through private property to the center line of Cairo Road,
On Atkins avenue commencing at the proposed
sewer in Mildred Street and running thence Northwardly to a point 50 feet!
South of the South line of Cairo Road.
On 13th Street commencing at the proposed sewer
in Langstaff Avenue and running thence Westwardly 350 feet on 13th Street.

On Cairo Road commencing at the proposed
sewer in Langstaff Avenue and extending through private property into thel
Cairo Road and running thence Eastgnvardly on Cairo Road 625 feet.
On Cairo Road commencing at -the proposed
sewer in Langstaff Avenue and extending through private property into Cairo
Road and running thence 'NestwardUy on Cairo Road 430 feet.
li On Hinkleville Road commencing at the man -i
hole at the East line of 24th Street and running thence Westwardly to the;
center line of 26th Street,
On 25th Street commencing at the proposed
sewer in Hinkleville Road and running thence Northwardly to a point 465
feet North of the center line of Kruger Street,
On 26th Street commencing at the proposed
sewer in Hinklevile Road and running thence Northwardly to a point 5OO
feet North of the center line of Kruger Street.
SECTION 4,
The cost of the construction of said sewers shall be
apportioned against all the property in said sewer zone #6 as follows:
1. All the lots or parcels of ground bounding or abut-
ting on the hereinabove named streets or alleys along or under which said

sewers shall be constructed are hereby declared.to be the property benefited

thereby, and said cost shall be apportioned and assessed equally against
said abutting lots or parcels of ground according to the number of abut-
x-ilcting feet thereon, provided the cost of said construction shall not ex -
i: ceed
eed $2,00 per abutting foot.
2. In the event the cost of construction of said
sewers shall exceed $2.00 per abutting foot along said streets or alleys
whereon said sewers shall be constructed, then such costs shall be ap
portioned against all of the lots or parcels of ground in said sewer
zone in the proportion that the area in square feet of each lot or par-
cel of ground bears to the area of all of the lots or parcels of ground
in said Sevier zone benefited thereby.
SECTION 5.
Notice is hereby given to the owners of all property
in said sewer zone #6, and to the owners of all property bounding or
abutting on any of said streets or alleys, thet the cost of the con-
struction of said sewers will be assessed against such property in the i
manner hereinabove provided.
SECTION 6.
A blue print or plat showing the boundaries of said

sewer zone 116, and showing by name the streets embraced in said zone,
and the line and cmurse of the sewers to be constructed therein, is
filed herewith and made part hereof, marked Exhibit "-" and for addi-,'
tional information said plat will appear on file in the office of thee
City Engineer of said city and may be inspected at any time upon appli-
cation at said office.
SECTION 7.
The combined storm water and sanitary server lines
along said streets and alleys, as herein provided, shall have six inch

house connection service lines extending from said sewers to the prop-
erty lines of all property abutting or bounding on any of said streets

ob alleys whereon said sewers shall be constructed, in%such manner asl
to serve the property so benefited.
SECTIO14 B.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage, approval and publication.
