That Trimble Street from the best property line of 10th Street to the East nroperty line of 13th Stre"t; from the crest property line of 13th Street to the ,vest property line of 17th Street, in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, be improved by the construction of a hard sur- face road -way, concrete curbs and gutters of either concrete or granite, according to bid accepted, together with 411 necessary manholes, intakes, catch basins, drive ways and sewer connections, in accordance with the plans and specifications provided therefor by the City Engineer of said City, and which are on file in the office of said Engineer, and are now referred to and made part hereof as if snecifically set forth herein. SECTION 2. Said construction shall be made under the direction and supervision of the City Engineer and Board of Public Works of said City, and shall commence at the time designated by contract .for the performance 'thereof, and be completed on or before December 10th, 1926, SECTION 3. The cost of such construction shall be paid for wholly by the property holders fronting or abutting thereon, to be apportioned to and assessed aeainst the property and property owners abutting thereon, according to the number of abutting feet thereon, except that portion to be paid by the City of Paducah, as required by law. i �� W i10. 687. i l SE;C'PIOPI 4. The contractor awarded the contract for the imnrovement herein provided for, shall be paid in accordance with the terms and I provisions of :section 3096, 3100, 3101 and 3102 of the Kentucky Statutes, I SECTION 5. The Mayor of said City is hereby authorized and direc to execute contract and accept bond :required to be executed by the Contractor awarded the contract for such construction. SECTION 6. Bids shall be received for the improvement herein provided for, in accordance with the plans and specifications made and provided therefor by the City Engineer, and the contract therefor shall be awarded to the lowest and best bidder, except the right is reserved to reject any ._nd all bids within the discretion of the General Council, and it may accept any bid which appears to be for the Joest interest of said City. SECTION 7. The Board of Public '.7orks is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids for the construction of said improve- ment, and to make report of same to the General Council, together wit its recommendation for the acceptance of any of said bids, or the rejection of all of same.
