COMPANY ON THE 4TH DAY Oi' APRIL, 1919.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GENERAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
Pj�DUI:AH; That the Paducah Railway Company is hereby granted per-
mission to operate bueses over the following streets in Paducah,
Kentucky; On Meyers Street from Farley to Broad Street; on Broad
Street to Third Street; on Third Street to "lashington Street; on
Washington Street to Fourth Street; on Fourth Street to Jefferson
Street; on Jefferson Street to Eleventh Street; on Eleventh Street
II to Trimble Street and on Trimble Street to Oak Grove Cemetery.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: The said Paducah Railway
Company shall not be required to operate street cars on the following
named Streets: Third Street from Broadway to Broad Street; North
Sixth Street from Broadway to Madison Street; Madison Street from
Sixth Street to Twelfth Street; Twelfth Street from P,Iadison Street tc

Trimble Street, and Trimble Street from Twelfth Street to Oak Grove
Cemetery, so long as busses are being operated on the Streets mentione
in the first Section of this Resolution.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: The operation of busses on the
III Streets named in the first paragraph of this Resolution shall be in
compliance with Section 10 of the Franchise granted by the City of
j, Paducah to the Paducah Railway Company on April 4th, 1919, and the
operation of busses over the streets named in the first Article of
this Resolution is hereby declared to be in lieu of the operation of
sstreet cars over Third Street, North Sixth Street, Madison Street and

Trimble Street.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: The right to operate busses
over the Streets named in the first Article of this Resolution, is

intended to give the Paducah Railway Company the opportunity to more
advantageously serve the travelling public of Paducah, and to ascerta
if bus service is more desirable than 6t-reet car service over the
Streets named.

BE IT FU'�THER RESOLVED: The Paducah Railway Company may,'at
its option, discontinue the use of busses over said Streets, and resume
the operation of street cars on Third Street, Sixth Street, Twelfth Street,
Trimble Street and Madison Street.
