described and a plat of vrhich zone appe,.rs on file in th.e office of the
city engineer of the city of Paducah, I,=entuc1grx and may be inspected by
any one making application therefor at said. office; and,

SECTION I.
That it is hereby* declared a necessity by the General Council
of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, in order to secure adequate sewerage,
and in order to protect the health of the citizens residing in Sewer
.1�arrn or>d
.one Number Five, Sub -Division A, Sewer District Number Three, that san-
itary sewers be constructed and laid out at the cost of the lots or par-
cels of .land benefitted thereby, and all the lots or parcels of land
embraced in said Zone are hereby declared to he the property benefitted
and subject to be assessed for the cost of constructing said. servers.
SECTION 2.
Said Sewer Zone Number Five of Sub -Division A, of Serer District
Number Three, in which seid sewers are to be constructed is described
metes and bounds as follows, to wit:

Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of 14th
street and Trimble street; thence southward with the center line of
14th street 203 feet 3 inches to the center line of an alley;
eastward with the center line of said allto the center line thence

13th street; thence northward with the center line of 13th street
203 feet 3 inches to the center line of Trimble street; thence east-
ward with the center line of Trimble street to a point 203 feet

from the center of 6th street to a point in the center line of

of the center lines of Campbell and Sixth streets crest of Campbell

6th street west of Campbell, street; thence Westward parallel to and
285 feet from the center line of 6th street :est, of Campbell street
and along the northerly line of hots 144 and. 154 in the Flournoy,
Norton, Trimble, and Harris Addition, a distance of 410 feet to the
center line of Harris street; thence southward with the center line
of Harris street 57 feet 6 inchesto a point 227 feet 6. inches,
measured along the center line of Harris street from the center line
of 6th street; thence westward parallel to and 227 feet 6 inches
from the center tine of 6th street 460 feet to a point on the cen-
ter line of Boyd street; thence def letting 3 degrees 58 minutes
to the left continuing westward r-rallel to and 226.95 feet from
the center line of 6th street, measured at right angles to 6th
street to a point 200 feet west of the ';:est property line of Burnett i
street, said 200 feet being measured parallel to sixth street; thence
southward parallel to and 200 feet from the west property line of
Burnett street said distance being measured parallel to sixth street,
to a point on the center line of ninth street, if extended; thence
westward on the center line of ?Ninth street, if extended; , to the
Common intersection point of Blocks 40, 41, 51 and 50 of Flournoy,
Nort'on, Trimble and Harris Addition, said. point being 400 feet more
or less, from the west property line of Burnett street and measured
parallel to Ninth street, if extended; thence soi,thward on the line
between Blocks 41 and 51 of Flournoy, Norton, Trimble and Harris Ad-
dition, a distance of 330 feet, more or less, to a point 150 feet
north of the north property line of Tenth street said point being on
the south property line of an alley, if extended, running east and
west through said Block 41; thence westvrard on a line In ralles to
and 150 feet from the north property line of Tenth street, said 150 I
feet being measured parallel to Flournoy street, a distance of 259
feet, more or less, to a point 150 feet northward From the north

of the Flournoy, Norton, Trimble and Barris Addition, if extended,
intersects,the center line of Tenth street, said point being 200
feet measured from the center line. of Cleveland Avenue and measured
parallel to Tenth street; thence southward on the line between Blocks
62 and 72 of the Flournoy, Norton, 'Trimble and Harris Addition,
a distance of 190 feet, more or less, to a point where the lane be-
tween lots 14 and 15 of Block 62 Flournoy, Norton, Trimble and Harris
Addition intersect the west property line of Block 62 Flournoy,
Norton, Trimble and Harris Addition, stud point being 200 feet west
of the center line of Cleveland Avenue and 160 feet south of the
north property line of Block 62 Flournoy, Norton, Trimble and Harris
Addition, said 200 feet being measured parallel to Tenth street, and
said 160 feet being measured pa.ral.lel to Cleveland Avenue; thence
westward across block 72 of the Flournoy, Norton, Trimble and Harris
Addition to a point of intersection where a line parallel to and 195
feet at right angles from the center line of Tenth street, located
West of Terrell street, intersents the center line of North street,
if extended, said point being 255 feet, more or less, from the center
line of Chet portion of Eleventh street, located between Green and
North streets, said 255 feet being measured parallel to North street;
thence westward parallel to and 195 feet at rl.gtit angles from the
center line of Tenth street to a point on the center _line of Palm

thence eastward, parallel to and 242 feet 6 inches from the
center line of 13th street to the center line of Millett Street;
thence southward along the center line of "'i.l.lett Street and
said center line extended, to a point 195 feet southward from
the center l.ine•of 14th street; thence eastward al.ung a line
195 feet south of the center of 14th street, measured at right an-
gles to 14th street, said line deflecting to conform to the angle
in 14th -street at Faxon street, to the center line of Flournoy street,
thence southward along the center line of Flournoy street and said
center line, if extended, to a point 226 feet southward from the
center line of Rushing street, said point being within the limits
of Oak Grove Cemetery; thence east along P. line parallel to and
226 feet from the center line of Rushing street to a point 180
feet northward from the center line of Trimble street, measured
at right angles to Trimble street, said point being on the south
property line of an alley which runs through Block No. 46 of the
Flournoy, Norton, Trimble and Harris Addition; thence eastward
along said south property line of said alley to the line between
lots No. 3 and 4 of said Block Ido. 46; thence southward with
said line between lots No. 3 and 4, 189.4 feet to a. point in the
center if Trimble street, 39 feet, more or less, westward from
the center line of 1.5th street, measured along the center of
Trimble street; thence with the center line of Trimble street
to the intersection of the center lines of 14th street and Trimble
street, to the point bf begi.nn.
SECTION 3.
Said Zone embraces the hereinafter named streets and alleys,
and all of the property in said Zone that is benefitted by said sewer
does not abutt on said streets and alleys; some of said property
not abutting on any of said streets or alleys so named.
Said sewers shall be constructed along and under the f ollor:ing
named streets and alleys in Sewer Zone No. 5 in Sub -Division A. Sewer
District No.3, and the cost of same shall be apportioned against all
the property in said sewer zone ad folloWs:
(a) All the lots of parcels of land bounding or abutting on the
hereinafter named streets, alleys or highways along or under which .
such sewers shall be constructed are hereby declared to be. the proper-
ty beneditted thereby, and said cost sl,all be apportioned and assessed
equally against said abutting )ots or lands according to the abutting
feet thereon, provided that the costs of said construction does not
exceed '62.00 per abutting foot.
(b) In the event the cost of construction of said sewer shall
exceed ti!;2.00 per abutting foot along any of said streets, alleys or
highways whereon said sewer shall he constructed, then such cost shall
he apportioned against all of the lots or lends in said sewer zone
which are hereby declared to be equally benefitted by said sewer ac-
cording to the area in square feet of the lots or lands so benefitted.
(c) -ith reference to all the lots or lands not bounding or
abutting on the said streets, alleys or highways along and under
which said sewer shall_ be constructed, the cost of somd shall be
apporti.oried against a.l.). of such lots or lands accald-ing to the area
in square feet.

shall be constructed are described as follows, to -wit:
Rushing street from Tully Avenue in a westerly direction to a
point near Flournoy street, a distance of 354.5 feet.
14th street from Trimble street in a westerly direction to a
point near Flournoy street, a distrnnce of 1003.3 feet.
Tully Avenue from 14th street in a souther]y direction to Rush-
ing street, a distance of 395 feet.
In alley between 13th street and 14th street parallel thereto
from Faxon in a westerky direcrion to a point near 7i1_lett street, a
distance of 370 feet.
In alley between 13th and 14th streets, and parallel thereto,
from Faxon in an easterl,, direction to a point near Flournoy street,
a distance of 379 feet.
13th street from Faxon street in an easterly direction to a �
point near Flournoy street, a distance of 445.4 feet. j
13th street from Burnett street in a westerly direction to a
point near Flournoy street_ a distance of 789.46 feet.
Trimble street from 14th street in a northeasterly direction �

the lind of the 8-,= foot existing sewer to 12th end. Burnett streets.
Burnett street from 12th street to the intersection of Burnett,
Trimble end. 15th streets.
SECTION h.
Notice is hereby given to the owners of 21.1. property in said
Zone, and all property bounding or abutting on any of said streets,
alleys or highways, that the cost of construction of said sewer will
be assessed against such propert9in the manner heret_na.bove provided.
SECTION 5.
A Blur Print or plat snowing the boundary of sewer Zone No. 5,
naming and s owing the streets embreced in said Zone, and showing the
line and course of the sewer to be constructed hereunder, is filed
herewith and made a part hereof, marked exhibit A.
SECTION 6.
For additional information of the public and owners of property
in said Zone, a blue pront or plat showing the boundary of said se.+:er
zone and showing the streets embraced therein, and the line a.nd. course
of the sewer to be constructed hereunder, will be found on file in the
office of the City Engineer of the Cite of Paducah, and. may be in-
spected at any time upon application at said office.
SF-CTION 7.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force after its
passage, approval and publication; and any previous resolution in con-
flict herewith is hereby repealed.
