YEAR PAYMENT PLAN.
KENTUCKY:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GENERAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
SECTION 1.
That Bridge Street from the west property line of Clements
Street to the present corporate limits, in the City of Paducah?, Kentucky,'
be improved by the construction of a hard surface road -way, and curbs and:
gutters from Hays Avenue to said corporate limits, together with all
necessary man -holes, intakes, drain -nd sewer pipes and drive -ways. in
accordance with the plans and specifications provided therefor by the City
Engineer, and which plans and specifications will appear on file in the

office of said Engineer, and are now referred to and made part hereof as if
specifically set forth herein.
S-ECTION 2.
Said construction shall be :ade under the direction and
supervision of the City }Engineer and Board of Public 'dorks of said City,
shall commeribe.at the time designated by contract for the performance
thereof, ar_d, 6completed on or before December 1, 1926.
SECTION 3.
The cost of such construction shall be paid for ,.,oily
by the property owners fronting or abutting thereon, to be apportioned to
and assessed against the property and the property owners abutting thereo
according to the number of abutting feet thereon, except that portion to
paid by the City of Paducah as required by law.
SECTION 4.
The contractor awarded the contract for the iu:proverent
herein provided for shall he paid in accordance with the terms and provisions of
Section 3096, 3100, 3101 and 3102 of the Kentucky Statutes.
SECTION 5.
The i,layor of said City is hereby authorized and directed
to execute contract and accent bond required to be executed by the contractor
awarded the contract for such construction.

SECTION 6.
Bids shall be received for the improvement herein provided :for,
in accordance with the plans and Specifications made and provided
therefor by the City Engineer, and the contract therefor shall be
awarded to the lowest and best bidder, except the right is reserved t
reject any and all bids within the discretion of the General Council,
and it may accept any bid which appears to be for the best interest c
said City.
SECTION 7.
The Board of Public -'works is hereby authorized to advertise
for bids for the constriction of said improvement, and to make report
of same to the General Council, together with its recommendation for

the acceptance of any of same, or the rejection of all of same.
SECTION 8.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and of
its passage, approval and publication.
